Dr. Brian Usher...

Dr. Usher has a long record of success building consulting businesses and helping organizations drive business strategy through objective assessment-based talent management and leadership development systems and services. Over the years, he has had the privilege of consulting and advising over 600 senior leaders, CEOs and entrepreneurs of Fortune 1000 companies and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). As an accomplished industrial/organizational psychologist with 25+ years of leadership experience in private and public sector organizations, he is well versed in the challenges of start-up operations; leadership issues related to creating sustainable businesses and market growth; succession planning; and publicly traded enterprises.

After 14 years of successfully leading the start-up and growth of the Canadian division of an international, publicly traded management consulting group, he is now pursuing his passion for business-building activities with entrepreneurs of small and medium sized Canadian business enterprises (SMEs).

As CEO of THE PRESIDENT’S TEAM Dr. Usher oversees business strategy and finance. He is also responsible for the design, development and delivery of this unique program for addressing leadership development needs and achieving tangible business results. As Director of Entrepreneurial Studies he oversees and coordinates on-going research efforts to identify and develop assessment applications for improving the successful growth of entrepreneurial businesses in the Canadian business market.

Brian received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto; his M.A. from York University; and his B.A. (Hon.) from the University of Waterloo.
